The Area & School

Located in the hills of Granada, one of Spain's most beautiful cities, the school features 7 spacious classrooms, air conditioning, WiFi and views of La Alhambra. Students also have access to a full library, cafeteria, with daily breakfast menu, terraces, garden, and a private swimming pool during summer months. The campus is within walking distance of La Alhambra and the city center of Granada.

Spanish Courses

Standard 20 Spanish

20 lessons per week of intensive Spanish language instruction. Classes are taught Monday through Friday and are divided into four 50 minute lessons each day.

Intensive 30 Spanish

A more intensive version of the Standard 20 program, the Intensive 30 course consists of 30 lessons per week of Spanish language instruction. Classes are taught in an immersion style Monday through Friday, and are divided into six 50 minute lessons each day. Open to all levels.

Accommodation

Shared Apartment

(Private room, no meals) Living in a shared flat is a great way for the independent traveler to meet other adults in the Granada area. Students will be issued a private room but will share common areas like kitchen and bathroom with flatmates. All apartments are equipped with heating, air-conditioning and WIFI, living room, fully equipped kitchen, television, refrigerator, and washing machine. Weekly maid service and utilities are included in the price (cleaning, sheets, heating, air-conditioning, gas and electricity and water)

The school recommends flying into Granada, Malaga or Almeria airport. If you plan on arriving on the Sunday before your program begins, the school can arrange private transfer to your accommodation. Students arriving on any other day must arrange their own transportation and lodging for any extra nights.

All Spanish immersion courses are accredited by the Instituto Cervantes in Madrid. Classes are taught completely in Spanish by native speakers with university degrees and focus on conversation, grammar, and real-world proficiency. All levels are welcome, even students with no prior experience. Classes begin every Monday except public holidays.
