DWS uses a total immersion communicative approach to teaching Spanish, encouraging maximum conversation and student interaction. Students are encouraged to think and interact in Spanish the way a native speaker would. Each student will take a placement test before beginning their program and be placed in one of the 6 core levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (A1-C2). Classes consist of a combination of conversation, exercises, role playing, reading, communication games, and grammar. Each Spanish teacher will customize the program somewhat based upon the level and learning styles of the participants in the class.
Programs are offered starting each Monday throughout the year.
