Bilbao, located in the Basque country of Spain, is a large city filled with vibrant culture. With its coastal climate beaches are abundant, making it a great place for surfing, sailing, or lounging shoreside. Don't expect to find a lack of amazing restaurants (tapas anyone?), markets, and nightlife in Bilbao. Additionally its rich history makes it a great place to learn the Spanish language and its close access to France increases the opportunities for adventure. At Instituto Hemingway students will be able to immerse themselves in their studies, as well as experience cultural opportunities in and outside of the city. Small, intensive classes at Instituto Hemingway allow for students to acquire the language quickly and easily.
Four hours of class per day, totaling 20 hours per week. Meant to offer a quick and balanced learning progression, this standard course provides students with the opportunity and accessibility to improve their Spanish skills. Taught in the mornings Monday-Friday.

(Private room, half board) Living with a host family in Bilbao will allow students to connect on a deeper level with their surrounding culture as well as transfer the skills they learn in the classroom to their outside life. Linen, towels, laundry and all cooking is included.
